Course title:
City & Guilds 2391-10 - Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations to BS7671
City & Guilds have now extended the registration closing date
for 2391-10 until 31 July 2012
Summary:
This five day course covers the requirements of BS 7671 for inspection, testing and certification and is designed to prepare candidates for both the written and practical examinations.
A qualification suitable for candidates wishing to carry out both Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing.
Details:
Candidates gain the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the inspection and testing procedures by practicing on purpose-built training rigs which simulate electrical installations.
The full 2391 qualification is gained by the successful completion of both a written examination and a practical assessment. The written exam is 2.5 hours and takes place on dates set by City & Guilds throughout the year.
The exam is always on a Thursday evening from 6.30-9.00 and is usually in the same week as the course. Check the website for further details.
The practical exam is 3/4 hours and every effort is made to fit it into the course week although occasionally it may need to be taken at a later date.
