PTT Part P Preparation
Course title:
PTT Part P Preparation Course
Summary:
This course gives candidates with no previous electrical experience the competence required to carry out domestic installations.
It comprises four modules: Installer 1 and Installer 2 plus City & Guilds 2382-10 and City & Guilds 2392-10
Click on the section headings below for more details on each module.
Details:
The PTT Part P Preparation Course is designed to help those who are seeking employment in the electrical industry but are unable to commit to a long term college training course.
The aim of the course is to train candidates to the level of competence required to become a Part P registered installer.
We provide high quality training; teaching students not only the technical skills but explaining the principles on which the techniques are based. Our students benefit from our small class sizes and patient and knowledgeable trained staff and leave us satisfied and keen to begin a career in electrical installations (see our testimonials page on the website).
The Part P Preparation Course comprises four modules: Installer 1, Installer 2, City & Guilds 2382-10 and City & Guilds 2392 which, if successfully completed, enables candidates to begin a career in the electrical industry as a domestic electrician.
Installer 1 introduces basic electrical theory while the practical element of the course covers the majority of electrical circuits found in domestic premises and also introduces testing.
We have a large fully equipped workshop to support students during practical instruction.
Syllabus:
- Installer 1 - 5 days
