Armed Forces Resettlement Courses
Enhanced Learning Credits
Proactive Technical Training is a registered training provider of armed forces resettlement courses (No: 3885) with the Enhanced Learning Credit Administration Service (often referred to as ELC or ELCAS).
The aim of the ELC is to promote "lifelong learning" amongst service personnel, providing the opportunity to claim up to £6000 towards retraining, either for a potential role within the armed forces, or for a future career upon leaving the services.
The ELC scheme contributes up to 80% towards armed forces resttlement courses and funding is only available for training towards higher level learning/nationally recognised qualifications at level 3 or above.
ELC funding is therefore available for the following courses at PTT
Part P Preparation Course
For those with no previous experience - retrain as a domestic installer
City and Guilds 2382-10
17th Edition wiring regulations
City and Guilds 2382-20
One-day update course for those who already hold the 2381 (16th edition)
City and Guilds 2391-10
Level 3 Testing and Inspection Course
City and Guilds 2391-20
Electrical Installation, Design, Erection and Verification
City and Guilds 2377-12
Certificate in Portable Appliance Testing
