Access to and use of this website is provided by Proactive Technical Training Limited and is on the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, then please do not use the website. Your use of this website will mean that you accept these terms and the privacy statement included on this website. We may change these terms and/or the privacy statement at any time and your continued use after any such changes are made, indicates your agreement to those varied terms.

If these terms are unenforceable

If any of these terms are determined by a court to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these terms will still apply, but the provision which was held to be invalid, illegal or otherwise unenforceable will no longer have effect.

Rights of third parties

These terms are not enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any person not a party to them.

The law governing these terms

These terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes under these terms shall be dealt with exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

Change of course date by candidate

Changing your course date within a month of the course start date will incur an administrative charge of: £45.00+VAT [£52.88]

Cancellation or non-attendance by candidate

Cancellation prior to 2 weeks (14 days) of course commencement date:
£75.00+VAT [£88.13]

Cancellation between one and two weeks of course commencement date:
£100.00+VAT [£117.50]

Cancellation within one week (seven days) of course commencement date or
non-attendance on the course – no refund.

Cancellation by PTT

Should, for any reason, the course be cancelled by PTT the candidate will be offered an alternative course date or a full refund of monies paid.

We are committed to respecting the data you provide and personal information submitted via this website is, subject to the note below regarding the use of email and the internet, processed and kept securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information submitted is passed to us by e-mail and may be stored manually or electronically.

Our policy is not to ask for sensitive personal data - that is, data relating to: race or ethnic origin; political opinion; religious or other similar beliefs; trade union membership; physical or mental health; sexual orientation; criminal records. We recommend that you do not provide such information to us. If you choose to do so for any reason, this will mean that you have given (and we accept) your explicit consent for us to use that information for the reasons described in this policy, or as explained at the time you provide the information.

If you are submitting your details to apply for courses, those details are passed on to the examining authority but will not be sent elsewhere. We may also use your details to send you other information about us and the services we offer. Unless required by law or for administrative purposes, we do not pass on the information you provide to third parties with the exception of the case described above.

Details may also be disclosed if required by law or for the purposes of Proactive Technical Training Limited's business requirements (e.g. to auditors or third party service suppliers).

If you are kind enough to provide us with a testimonial or note of thanks regarding your course then we reserve the right to publish it in the Testimonials section on our website. If you do not wish this to happen then please inform us at the time of writing. We will use only your first name plus city or town to attribute your text.

If you do not want to receive information from us other than that which you have requested, or you wish to request details and copies of the information we hold about you or you wish to request that we correct any factual errors in any such information please write to our address for the attention of the Website Administrator. We may charge you a fee for supplying you with the information and we may require proof of your identity before we supply it to you.

The internet and use of e-mail are not secure and by using these methods to communicate with us you accept that there are risks associated with sending information via this method.

We do not use cookies or web bugs to monitor your use of this website.
