City & Guilds 2382 – 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
The 3 day City & Guilds 2382-15 course provides a comprehensive review of the latest edition of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS7671:2008 (2015).
This course is intended to ensure that practicing electricians comply with the format, content and applications of The Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671.
There are no formal entry requirements, but the qualification is primarily aimed at electricians and other allied professionals and trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IET Wiring Regulations. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to demonstrate an understanding of the IET 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
The scheme covers topics such as protection for safety, selection and erection of equipment, and inspection and testing to meet the standards of the IET Wiring Regulations.
The course concludes with an open book multiple-choice online exam. Candidates have two hours to answer all sixty questions; the exam result is immediately available.
Successful candidates can progress to C&G 2392-10, Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification of Electrical Installations or the Level 3 inspection and testing qualifications . You may also be interested in the C&G 2396 electrical installation design course.
