When you’re working with electricity, it’s critical that your staff are appropriately trained and qualified to protect them, their colleagues, and members of the public from danger. Insufficient or out of date training risks exposing your employees to unacceptable levels of risk and increases the likelihood that an accident will occur – potentially with devastating life-changing or fatal results.
At PTT, we deliver high-quality electrical training courses that are accredited by City & Guilds, one of the world’s leading providers of work-based qualifications. Our course portfolio spans the complete range of electrical training, including:
- C&G 2382 BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
- C&G 2396 Design and Verification of Electrical Installations
- C&G 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
- C&G 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures)
- C&G 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging
- C&G 2393 Building Regulations
Accredited to BS EN ISO9001 standards, PTT is committed to the highest standards of electrical training, giving our customers complete confidence that our courses and qualifications prepare their staff intensively for the workplace.
What Are City & Guilds Electrical Certificates?
City & Guilds offer a wide variety of qualifications across 25 different industries, which are recognised globally for their quality and depth of study. A leading organisation for work-based qualifications, City & Guilds offer over 500 qualifications in 81 countries, through a network of over 8,500 training providers.
City & Guilds qualifications are designed to professionally develop people at every stage of their careers, from apprentices to senior managers. They can be undertaken in the classroom or the workplace, or through a blended approach.
Do City & Guilds Certificates Expire?
Once a City & Guilds certificate has been awarded, it will only expire if and when standards change or are updated, giving your staff qualifications that remain relevant and up to date providing evidence they have been trained to the highest standards.
It is essential therefore that your staff are regularly kept up-to-date with the latest regulations, skills, and technologies, or the qualification may quickly become outdated in practice. At PTT, we can provide bespoke training courses and online electrical courses so that your team can continue their professional development in a meaningful and convenient way that supports and builds on their core C&G training.
