This course is an introduction to relevant health and safety legislation, electrical regulations, fundamental electrical principles and the dangers of electricity that are applicable to AC and DC powered Telecoms systems.

It is aimed at managers, supervisors, engineers and technicians who are responsible for, or work on or near, telecoms AC and DC power systems who require an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements related to Telecoms Power Systems.

This online course consists of 4 modules:

  1. Health & Safety Legislation
  2. BS7671 18th edition – an overview
  3. Electrical Principles
  4. Dangers of Electricity

There is a quiz at the end of each module.  You must pass the quiz to move onto the following section.  It should take you approximately two hours to complete the course.

Please note that you have 30 days to complete the course and are entitled to 3 attempts at the quiz.  After this you will need to purchase another course.
