PTT Introduction Course

This 1-day course covers an introduction to electrical principles and basic circuit configurations. Students will learn the fundamentals of what constitutes an electric current and the essential differences between Direct Current (DC) and Alternating Current (AC). Students will be introduced to the basic equations – familiar to all electrical engineers – enabling them to design circuits and predict measured values. This will be supported by practical exercises constructing and testing basic circuit arrangements

An important aspect of the course will be to gain an appreciation of the hazards which electricity can bring, so as to be able to work safely within their level of competency.
