This course (a condensed version of the course for non-electricians), will provide the relevant knowledge and practical skills to enable electricians to work safely using appropriate methods, procedures and equipment to install, inspect, test and maintain Telecoms DC power systems.  The course includes formal practical and written assignments.

Who should attend?

This course is intended for qualified electricians who require specific training in the theory and practical aspects of the installation, inspection and maintenance of DC powered telecoms equipment.

Those attending this course will need to provide evidence of relevant qualifications before the booking will be confirmed.  This includes the following.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Level 3 Testing and Inspection e.g. 2391
  • Plus one of the following:
